Description

We are seeking a seasoned PeopleSoft Functional Consultant – Time & Labor to support and enhance critical business applications for a leading airline in the APAC region. You will play a pivotal role in implementing, maintaining, and customizing the PeopleSoft Time & Labor module in a dynamic and collaborative environment following MACH architecture and DORA frameworks.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and configure rule-based engines to interpret data from timesheets and rosters.
  • Define and customize rules to align with collective agreements for accurate payroll data generation.
  • Manage and support Global Payroll processes, including earnings, deductions, leave balances, tax, and GL compliance.
  • Design and implement Time & Labor integrations with HCM systems like Workday and other PeopleSoft modules such as Payroll.
  • Monitor and manage interfaces between PeopleSoft and systems like SAP, GroundStar, and CARDAX.
  • Provide functional support to resolve issues in production and test environments.
  • Create and maintain detailed functional design documents for business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts and Product Owners, to map solutions in PeopleSoft.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide training as needed.


Technical Skills & Expertise:


Must-Have Competencies:


  • In-depth experience with PeopleSoft Time & Labor module, including:
  • Time reporting and approval processes
  • Scheduling and rule-based processing
  • Labor cost distribution and employee group management
  • Compensatory time and payable time forecasting
  • Expertise in integrating Time & Labor with HCM systems (e.g., Workday) and PeopleSoft Payroll.
  • Hands-on experience in managing Global Payroll, including compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining custom rules to interpret collective agreements.


Good-to-Have Competencies:


  • Knowledge of New Zealand Payroll processes and compliance regulations.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 12 years of experience in implementing and maintaining PeopleSoft Time & Labor and Payroll modules.
  • Proven expertise in global payroll compliance, integration, and process optimization.
