Description

As a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure our applications are scalable, reliable, and secure.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement GCP-based infrastructure solutions.
  • Manage and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ensure security best practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and deployment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP services and features.

 

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, etc.).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GCP certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer).
  • Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
