We are looking for a talented Senior React Developer to join a great consultancy based in Auckland delivering awesome solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building complex web applications using React.js. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our front-end applications, ensuring they are performant, scalable, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using React.js
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior React Developer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in .NET & SQL
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha
• Knowledge of server-side rendering and Next.js
