Looking at old legacy applications and how they can modernise.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance application architectures using Azure.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on best practices for application development and deployment.
• Understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams and design specifications.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
• Work closely with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Application Architect or similar role.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and its services.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
• Solid understanding of business architecture and its alignment with IT strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Certifications in Azure or related technologies.
