Our client is in need of a Senior IT Project Manager. The selected candidate will work closely with a designated Technical Product Manager and Programme Director to lead the delivery for a major technology initiative. This is a key role within a significant transformation programme aimed at enhancing technological capabilities and operational efficiencies.

The role involves comprehensive project management, from planning and coordination to reporting and governance, for a team of up to 30 members. This team is tasked with the design, testing, and integration of systems into a leading cloud-based financial management and information system, including the decommissioning of outdated solutions. The project duration is anticipated to be 18 months, requiring diligent leadership to ensure successful delivery within the stipulated timelines.

• Leading the delivery of a major technology workstream, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and governance.
• Overseeing a team dedicated to the integration of systems into a cloud-based financial management platform.
• Managing project timelines, financials, risks and issues, and ensuring adherence to governance standards.
• Facilitating the design, testing, and integration processes, as well as overseeing the decommissioning of replaced systems.
• Ensuring clear communication within the team and with stakeholders, balancing multiple demands and motivating team members towards common goals.
